Daytime Vibes with Stella & Dot

A few weeks ago, I met Jilliane over instagram and just recently we got a chance to sit down for coffee and chat in person.  Between talking about her adorable kids, we chatted about blogging and about her work as a stylist with Stella & Dot.

Jilliane had the idea of creating a “day to night” inspired post featuring some S&D jewelry and I loved the idea!  I’m a big believer in spending money on pieces that are versatile, so today’s post (and my next post) is centred around the amazing “Sutton necklace”.  I love that it can be worn either long or short, and it also has an extra strand of gems that can be added to give the necklace a little sparkle!

For my daytime look, I wanted to wear a classic t-shirt & jeans.  Instead of sticking with just the gold tone in the Sutton necklace, I added some silver pieces to make the look a bit more edgy and add some visual interest.
