I feel like I have a love/hate relationship with rompers. Don’t get me wrong, I love the idea of them. They are cute, comfy and take all the stress out of finding a top & bottom that match. I longingly look at rompers sold in online stores, but purchasing usually ends in disappointment. Most often, the romper (& the model wearing it) has been photoshopped into oblivion in order to hide a shapeless shirt/shorts combo with an unflattering elastic waistband. This romper though? Absolute perfection! I love it’s tailored shape and the ruffle detail down the back definitely takes the cake!
Also, I have to mention this necklace. While browsing the Happiness Boutique website (love their mission of spreading happiness!), I was instantly drawn to it. It seriously has layers upon layers of sparkle and is definitely a stand alone piece. It is also way lighter than you would expect (I have a few statement necklaces that can only be worn for a short time before they become overwhelmingly)!
Necklace – c/o Happiness Boutique ($32). Romper – Forever 21 ($29). Heels – Le Chateau ($19). Studded Bag – Le Chateau ($29). Bracelet – Vintage. Lipgloss – Smashbox “disco rose” ($23).

The ruffle detail is indeed amazing, this romper also seems like a great piece to adapt to every occasion
I’m right there with you–I want to love rompers, but I never seem to find one that can fit/is flattering! This one is gorgeous.
Definitely my favourite outfit, colour scheme and hairstyle on you BY FAR!
the details on this dress…the ruffles, yes, but the back even has something a little extra. love it with that necklace, too.

I haven’t been brave enough to try rompers yet…but you make this look great! I’m surprised by how dressy it; fabulous. I love your blog, by the way, everything about it is lovely.
