So you may have noticed a lack of recent blog posts, but if you’ve been following me on Instagram you’d know know why! I’m currently traveling through Europe on a fun little family vacation. So far, it has been a wonderful trip, as we spent the first week exploring the streets of Paris and taking a million photos (I promise there are lots of exciting blog posts coming your way soon!).
Today, I thought I would share a few photos from our visit to Versailles.
I love french architecture and Versailles was beyond beautiful. From the gilded front gates to the perfect herringbone floors, every bit of the design was immaculate. The rooms had vibrant velvet wallpapers, intricate mouldings and stunning marble details. All of the furniture in the rooms were exquisitely detailed and perfectly ornate.
The fall temperatures in Paris seemed to change from minute to minute, so a trench coat was the perfect lightweight layer to easily slip on and off. Lately, I’ve been wearing this blush one all the time and it is definitely a must have piece to add to your wardrobe. The blush colour seems to go with everything and it is for adding a touch of femininity to a neutral outfit.
