So, it’s been a while since I have shared any updates on our new home, but things have been coming along nicely! My original plan was to work on one room at a time, but somehow I’ve seemed to have lost focus and currently have different diy project in progress for almost every room in the house haha! The last two weeks, I’ve been working on nailing down exactly how I want to style my living room. Right now, our living room is a clean palette just waiting for a little bit of design sparkle. Our soft grey/white walls and weathered hardwood flooring could be styled endless ways, but the inspiration for our home has always been modern Parisienne. After our trip to Paris last month, I only fell more in love with Parisienne architecture & design. It’s hard not to admire the way the French are able to effortlessly layer traditionally detailed antique pieces with almost anything!
For our living room, my vision is to keep the overall tone in the room soft & refined, with lots of texture and a few punches of feminine colour! Here are a few spaces that are inspiring me right now:
