I ordered this floral romper online in August without considering how long it might take to ship it all the way to Canada from China. Of course, it arrived in October with summer long gone! Since, I am far too impatient to wait for Spring to roll around next year to wear it, I got a little creative and layered it with some dark tights and a cozy cardigan. Dark florals are definitely on trend for fall, so the print worked perfectly for the season. Lastly, I added a few accessories from Pinkstix (like this adorable tassel necklace I’m currently obsessed with!)
Now, lets talk shoes for a second… I am absolutely terrible at buying comfy shoes! When shopping, I tend to get distracted by shiny things and although I may have the best intensions of buying practical walking shoes, somehow I always end up leaving the store with a pair of shiny new, “one-hour only” stilettos instead. Which is why I’m so glad I found this pair of booties from Naturalizer. Not only are they super chic with the contrasting leather and suede details, but the description of these babies reads more like an athletic sneaker than a boot (um, hello “superior arch & heel support with duel density cushioning”!) Cute and comfortable? Yes please!!!
Today’s outfit: Black leather & suede Naturalizer “Allison” booties (c/o) + Pinxstix gold tassel necklace (c/o) + Choies black & pink floral lace romper + Kate spade gold bow ring + Black & gold Pinkstix chain detail cuff bracelet (c/o)
Disclaimer: Just a quick reminder that anytime something I’m wearing has been gifted, I mark it as c/o (courtesy of). While I love working with different brands & companies, it is extremely important to me that I only share products that I genuinely use and love. Hoped you enjoyed today’s blog post! 😉
