Typically, I hate shopping for jeans. Sweaters, dresses and skirts are all fun to shop for, but when it comes to shopping for denim, I always have the hardest time finding pairs that flatter my petite frame.
A few weeks ago, I went shopping at Bootlegger and had the best jean shopping experience!
(shout out to Trish at Bootlegger St. Vital location for all her help!) I must have tried on 15 pairs of jeans and somehow every pair was flattering on my body. For this first time in what feels like forever, I branched out from my typical dark skinnies and found a pair of destroyed denim that I fell in love with. This pair is perfectly ripped with not too many holes… but still enough to give it a little edge!
I’ve been wearing these jeans non-stop, but today I wanted to share a casual weekend outfit by pairing them with this simple emerald sweater & my Newchic tailored jacket. A little bit of sparkle (in the form of a Shop PLD necklace!) & a pair of heels adds a touch of femininity to this “borrowed from the boys” look!
