Like most people, my wardrobe has gone through several major shifts as my lifestyle has changed.  From wearing tailored blazers when I was a real estate agent to stocking my closet with trendy seasonal pieces as a fashion blogger each new phase of life has come with wardrobe changes.  Now as a mom, this phase of life is filled with mornings at home baking muffins and cuddling with my baby girl.  Of course even though I’m at home most days I still want to look and feel my best.

Pretty neutral coloured leggings

Soft stretchy leggings are my favourite thing to wear around home.  Most people automatically choose the colour black when it comes to leggings but there are so many more colour options now available.  I recommend leaving the bold prints and loud colours for the gym and opt for subtle desaturated tones for lounging around the home.  I’ve personally been looking to add a new pair in a light grey tone or pretty pink colour to my loungewear collection. 

Lacey bralettes

Save your push up bras for going out – pretty bralettes are the best choice for wearing at home!  Not only are they super comfy but pretty straps and lace detailing make your lounging look effortlessly pretty.  The Free People Adella bralette is a fashion blogger favourite and an absolute must-have.  It comes in so many pretty colours but my personally favourite is the classic white version because of its versatility.

Cozy slippers

Soft sweaters

For wearing around home I prefer sweaters that are a little bit oversized but have a fitted sleeve that doesn’t get in the way (and is easy to roll up in case I have to quickly clean up a mess).  Right now I’m loving all the off the shoulder knits available in stores.  Showing hint of skin helps cozy oversized sweaters feel effortlessly chic.
