April in the prairies is one of my least favourite months. While everything is blooming in Europe, US and along the coast, central Canada is a lifeless mess of flood water and dirty melting snow. We are literally late bloomers with everything finally starting to come back to life in May. Not being able to travel during this season is particularly hard, but this time at home has given me a chance to look back through some of the beautiful photo springtime photos I’ve captured from our travels. Today I wanted to share my favourite images of the cherry blossom bloom in Paris last year. I hope the beauty of these blooms brings sunshine and hope to you wherever in the world you are.

These are beautiful! Our Spring season is the complete opposite. We started realllyyyy early this year … like early February lol! And sadly, we missed all the recent wildflowers with the lockdown orders 🙁 It’s my favorite time of the year and hard to be inside but these beautiful photos brightened my day 🙂

Oh wow! I remember seeing some of these photos when you posted them the first time, and it’s crazy to think it’s been a year. Gosh, how things have changed in just 12 months, am I right? I hope one day I get to visit Paris! I’m dying to go!
