So far this week, we have made quite a bit of progress on our office/guest room refresh! The gallery wall for over top of the desks is almost complete and our new bed has arrived and is installed in place! Since the space used to be used only as my Pretty Little Details studio I had my logo displayed on the wall for years. This past week, I finally said goodbye to the logo on the wall to make way for the space becoming more of a multi-use room. Without the logo, the brick wall feels fresh and clean but also kind of bare. I haven’t quite decided yet if I will add artwork or something over top of the corner where the be is yet or leave it bright and open.
The centrepiece for the gallery wall is this painting of Santorini, Greece. My husband and I visited Santorini on our honeymoon 8 years ago and it is literally one of my favourite places in the world. It is so incredibly picturesque and the sunset from the island is incredibly romantic. This particular style of painting was inspired by an artist I found on Pinterest. I love how she used pink tones to depict the island at sunset. Now I just need to finish creating the remaining pieces of artwork to surround this large centrepiece.

The two other pieces that arrived this past week was our new twin bed from GoodMorning.com along with a gorgeous ruffled duvet cover. I have been crushing on the Anthropologie Rivulets quilt for ages but it is quite expensive. I’m so excited that I was able to find the perfect dupe for the rivulets quilt at Stein Mart. While the ruffles are a little bit less intricate than the Anthropologie version, it maintains the gorgeous fish scale detailing and the blanket itself is incredibly soft.
That’s it for this weeks One Room Challenge update! I can’t wait to finally finish this space and show it with you guys!

It’s been so fun following along on this space !
I am so impressed that you can paint your own art! It must make each room a little more extra special. <3
